Feature Friday: Rhythm, Rhyme, Results

(from left to right: Tommy Boots, Ben Jackson, The Arcitype, and Robbie Mitchell)

Do you ever have a hard time remembering all the state capitals of the US? Well JamLegend is proud to present you with Rhythm, Rhyme, Results' song "50 States, 50 Capitals," created by Ben Jackson (RRR co-founder, lyricist, executive producer), Tommy Boots (vocalist), The Arcitype (producer), and Robbie Mitchell (RRR co-founder, executive producer).

Rhythm, Rhyme, Results is unique, in that their goal is to create the most entertaining and effective educational music on the planet.   They create songs by carefully combining ivy-league nerds with actual hip-hop artists, working closely together with everyone to make it all come together.   The resulting songs help students remember important points in MathScienceReading/WritingHistory and more.   Last year they were even honored with two Parents' Choice Awards.

Robbie Mitchell says, "We've had a lot of fun putting songs on JamLegend and watching students compete for better scores.  Our songs work well with visuals, and to have them paired with a game is even better.  The best part of repeated gameplay on JamLegend is that you slowly memorize the lyrics, which embeds all those academic facts in your head without you even realizing."

As far as distribution, they sell CDs and downloads to individuals, and they also built RRR.fm, a streaming service for schools that has a smart, simple playlist system for teachers and their students.  It makes it easy for them to offer unlimited, 24/7, on-demand access to individual albums or their entire library.  It currently starts at just $2.99/month for individual teachers.
